This a recommended store for interior design enthusiasts. They have locations in other cities such as Tokyo and Chicago, but this is their flagship. It’s a great place to enjoy the design sense of Denmark.

建築ヲタクに必見。 学生寮の為に立てたれたこの円形の建築は、 コペンハーゲンに拠点を置くデンマークの建築会社「ルンドカアルド＆トランベリ（Lundgaard & Tranberg）」により手がけられました。

A must-see for architecture lovers. This circular building is a student dormitory for the University of Copenhagen South Campus. It was designed by local architectural firm Lundgaard & Tranberg. It is a 30-45 minute walk from the center of the city, but totally worth it!

美術館と植物園のようなカフェ。ニイ・カールスベルグ・グリプトテク美術館 グリプトテーク（「彫刻陳列館」）の名の通り、古代以来の彫刻作品がコレクションが多りますが、美術館にはクロード・モネなどの絵画もあり十分に楽しめます。 中心にある亜熱帯のウィンターガーデンが、この美術館の一番の魅力でもあり、カフェと館内のストアは１００点満点です。

Combination of art museum and botanical garden. As the name Glyptoteket (“Sculpture Exhibition Hall”) suggests, there are many collections of sculptures since ancient times as well as paintings from artists such as Claude Monet.To view the entire museum would require about half a day. The subtropical winter garden in the center is the main attraction and most famous feature. It is fashioned like an inner courtyard, with the café and gift shop overlooking it in a picturesque way. I highly recommend spending time at the cafe, bring a book, perhaps.

Denmark’s Architecture museum, built as an “urban centre” with shops and residential units. The exhibit is small but the upper mezzanine offers a beautiful view of the city.

Located in the seaside town of Helsingør, a 40 minute train north of Copenhagen, Kronborg Castle is most famously known for being the inspiration for Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Not only can you enjoy its historic setting as a UNESCO heritage site, the view of the strait from the top of the castle is also beautiful. You can see Sweden from here!

コペンハーゲンの旅で一番におすすめしたい美術館です。中央駅から４５分ほどで着くので日帰り旅行にぴったりです。 庭園と館内のアートが両方あるので、天気の良い日が最高ですが木造とガラス張りの廊下なので、天気が悪くても十分に作品を見ることができます。 館内にあるレストランから見える景色は、絶景です。コーヒーとサンドイッチを買って、外のテラスと芝生はで海を眺めながらピクニックのようにくつろいでる人がたくさんいました。 草間彌生さん、アンディ・ウォーホール、ジャコメッティーなど日本でも有名な作品がたくさん立ち並び、１日中満喫できます。

This is my highest recommended museum in the Copenhagen area.Visiting it is a recommended day trip, about 45 minutes up the coast from Central Station.There is both a sculpture garden and enormous gallery, with a natural-looking interior of wood and glass.The scenic view from the adjoined restaurant is superb. There were many people who bought coffee and sandwiches and relaxed like a picnic while watching the sea on the cliffside terrace and lawn.The museum has works many famous artists Yayoi Kusama, Andy Warhol, Giacometti, etc. It can be enjoyed all day long.

This museum was designed by BIG architect Bjärke Ingels.The unique building is mostly below sea level and built out of an old concrete dry dock.
